This Privacy Policy describes how Demosaiq ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website (demosaiq.com) and our Windows desktop application ("the App").

Information we collect

Video content (none)

The App processes all video files locally on your computer using your own GPU or CPU. Video files never leave your device. We do not upload, store, transmit, or have any access to the videos you process.

License and account data

When you purchase a Pro subscription or Lifetime license, our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) collects your billing information including email address and payment details. We receive only your email address, license key, and subscription status from Lemon Squeezy. Your full payment details are stored by Lemon Squeezy and never reach us.

When the App activates or validates a license, it sends the license key and a per-device anonymous identifier (UUID generated on first run) to Lemon Squeezy's License API. Your IP address is visible to Lemon Squeezy as part of standard HTTPS request metadata.

Website visitor data

Our website is served via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log standard HTTP request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security, abuse prevention, and infrastructure operation. We do not operate analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking on the website.

How we use information

• To deliver the product (license issuance and validation).
• To respond to support inquiries you send us.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax records, etc.).
• To detect and prevent abuse of the service.

Third-party processors

• Lemon Squeezy — Merchant of Record for payments, subscription management, and license key issuance. See their privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, website hosting, and object storage for the installer and runtime depots.

Cookies and local storage

The website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The App stores your license key and a per-device identifier locally on your computer in the application data directory; this data is not transmitted to us except during license activation/validation calls to Lemon Squeezy.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. To deactivate a license on a device, use the in-app license manager (Settings → License → Deactivate). To cancel a subscription, use the customer portal link in your purchase confirmation email from Lemon Squeezy.

Data retention

We retain license records and order metadata for as long as required by tax and accounting regulations in South Korea. Support correspondence is retained for up to 2 years. Anonymous server logs managed by Cloudflare are retained according to Cloudflare's standard retention.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use of the App and website after changes constitutes acceptance.
